§ 01Who's behind it

Made by a musician who makes a living from music

Damián Calle in his studio

I started out like almost everyone: playing songs from memory without understanding why they worked. When I wanted to study theory, every book I found was written for the conservatory, not for someone holding an electric guitar.

After more than twenty years as a musician, composer and producer, I wrote the books I wish I'd had: theory made for musicians who play, explained with real songs, audio and fully worked-out exercises.

— Damián Calle
